Stuff what the cat done dragged home
kitty dead mousie chippie    The annual critter count is a tally of dead (or nearly dead) things the kitty brought home or that were found about the house and grounds. The official record is kept on a Post-It note on the 'fridge.
Where there is only circumstantial evidence that Dev may have caused the critter's demise, it is duly noted. Anything found alive is returned to the wild in hopes it will not appear on the casualty list.
